Villa Outdoor Works – Textile tent above pool and wooden pergola

Client: JASON LEE SHARPLES AND FRANCINE ANNE SHARPLES

Contractor: AL KOUS BUILDING CONTRACTING AND


LANDSCAPING GARDENING LLC.

Subject: Response Letter.

TKS CED Comments

1. Submit modification completion certificate for swimming pool,


underground water pump room, chiller and landscaping works). If no
MCC was issued kindly submit Nakheel NOC and approved drawings
for regularization [attached Nakheel NOC]
2. Submit complete drawings including structural for pergola,
swimming pool, tensile shading, pump room, etc) [attached
Drawings]
3. Submit undertaking letters for the completed/started work on site:
Submit Undertaking Letter from Contractor: (Subject shall include all
started/completed works)
"We hereby confirm that we undertake full responsibility for the
above facility which was constructed without CED approval and site
checking and will not hold the Authority liable for any defects etc."
"We hereby confirm that the Structural integrity / designs have been
thoroughly checked and examined by ourselves and found it
satisfactory", etc.
Submit Undertaking Letter from Client: (Subject shall include all
started/ completed works)
"We hereby confirm that we undertake full responsibility for
the above mentioned work which was constructed without
CED approval and site checking and will not hold the
Authority liable for any defects." [attached undertaking
letter]
4. Please note that this review is preliminary and detailed comments
(if any) will be forwarded upon receipt of complete documents for
NOC .................................... [Noted]
Provide cover letter with point wise response to the comments for quick
processing. Submit only the documents related to the comments. Do
not include the documents were already submitted in the original
submission. If response to the above comments is not submitted within
5 working days, it will be rejected and to be submitted as a new
submission [Noted and attached]

TKS EHS Comments:

1. Proposed Completed Outdoor Works (construction of pergola,


installation of tensile shading) as per Nakheel NOC has been reviewed
based on the submitted documents/drawings and complies with the
EHS regulations [Noted and would be Complied]
