Supervisors must obtain approval from managers before allowing overtime, and employees must notify their supervisor in advance to get approval for overtime work or they will not be paid. Supervisors who authorize overtime without approval or rely too heavily on overtime may face disciplinary action, and employees who work unauthorized overtime may also be disciplined up to termination.

be subject to disciplinary action. Supervisors who continually rely on the use of overtime hours to
complete a week's work without it being deemed as extenuating circumstances by management will be
subject to disciplinary action.

Consequences of Unauthorized Overtime

Employees who fail to obtain approval prior to working hours that extend beyond their normal working
hours will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
