SIMPLE PAST Use to report an event with “Specific Time”:

They were too late

PRESENT PERFECT Use to report an event without “Specific Time”, and


describe permanent or recently situations, and activities that going to finish:

 My friend has left their key in my house.


 They,ve always gone to the library.
 I’ve lived here for 4 years.

PRESENT PERFECT CONTINUOUS Use to describe “Temporaly” situations or


situations that going to continuous:

 My mom has been coocking for my dad and i.


 I’ve been living here for 4 years.

 Use with PAST PERFECT to describe that was true or that happened:
