No employees are assigned to perform medical or rescue duties during emergency evacuation
situations. However outside agencies such as the local fire department and medical facilities will
be used during annual reviews and practice drills. This will ensure the capabilities of these
outside responders will know what to expect when arriving to the NPOs area. These drills will be
conducted as often as necessary to keep employees, managers and the outside responders
prepared.
*This EAP must be updated by the vice president of the NPO and is the individual responsible
for ensuring the plan is well executed by all employees, updated to accommodate all the outside
agencies and has been tested to successfully operate through practice drills. The CEO, Vice
president, and lead security manager are the only individuals that can add changes to the EAP.
However, any employee can announce that there is an emergency and can alarm the EAP. All
employees are highly encouraged to notify these individuals when there is a state of emergency.
