In this picture, the artist used


both extreme unity and variety to portray an image that means “one as a family”.
The variety of shapes and colors used to create the bodies of the family members
made it stand out. In addition, we can see from the art that some parts of art have
an Elements of Arts such as Expressive Lines, Outline or Contour Line and Line
Quality. Expressive lines are curved, adding an organic, more dynamic character to
a work of art, we can see that each head is in harmony with each other. Outline or
Contour Line create a path around the edge of a shape like their faces in the art it
creates shape. Lastly, Line quality we can see from my art, how a line presents
itself. It has hard-edged and jagged line that addresses the way the parts of a
composition visually hold together. However, when the shapes and colors come
together, we can see the family as one. Even though the colors are different it
comes together in a unified way.
