An endeavor by the department of English
“If you can speak, you can influence,
If you can influence you can change lives”
Dear Principal / Head of School,
Greetings from Delhi Public School, Kolar Road Bhopal!
As the pandemic traverses the world stealthily and Mother Nature works towards reviving itself, humanity is gazing
out of the window admiring all creations with a new lens.
Amid these unprecedented times, we are all navigating our learning journey with immense care, patience, respect,
empathy and responsibility, keeping in mind the best interest of our children. At the same time, as educationists, we are
also engaged in the lofty mission of guiding children on creating a future where there is respect for life in all its forms.
Exploring the pages of history; pondering over the events that occurred; learning from things that went wrong; drawing
forth inspiration from all that was good, our children are being collectively stimulated to inspect past glory and apply
its wisdom in the present and future. In the process, they will be able to recognize the turning points in history. At the
same time, while mapping the progress of various institutes and the ideologies that they followed, they would learn
about its relevance today.
With the aim to reflect upon and analyze the impact of the above thought on the student community, with immense
pride, we announce the hosting of a Virtual Inter - School Competition ‘WOW’ (Literary Fest). It is a fest organized by
the Department of English every alternate year to inculcate love for language and reading in the budding young
students. This year we bring forth Oratory Competitions for the students of Classes III TO VIII.
We, at DPS, Kolar Road cherish these youngsters and encourage them to explore their true potential and cultivate their
talent.
Looking forward to the participation of your esteemed school in WOW.
Warm Regards
Principal
