SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

Tezpur University is conducting a four week SUMMER Internship Programme in Physics,


Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, MBBT, Food Processing Technology, Computer
science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
Civil Engineering, English, Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, Energy,
Sociology, Cultural Studies, Mass Communication & Journalism and Hindi for outstanding
students of undergraduate Programme from June 1, 2011 to June 30, 2011.

Objectives: Some of the main objectives for implementing this Programme are to introduce the
young talents into research at an early stage, open up the university facilities to students of other
institutions and give them opportunities to interact with the experienced faculty members of the
university.

Stipend: The selected students will be provided incidental expenses amounting to Rs.2000/- for
the entire period.

Accommodation: The interns will be provided accommodation in the university hostels.


However, they will be required to bring their bedrolls and arrange for their food.

Eligibility: Students completing 2nd year BA/B. Sc Programme or 3rd year B. Tech Programme
with consistently good academic records and a strong desire to take up research career.

How to apply: Intending candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format
attached herewith so as to reach the undersigned positively by 30th April, 2011.
