In recent days, it is widely acknowledged that

experimental tests on animal are used to prove the


products safety and create paths for medicines
development. Some people argue that the conduction of
scientific tests on animal should be prevented due to the
lack of morality when animal suffers whilst others agree
with those experiment because it can serve for humanity
science. From personal perspective , I believe that
experiments on animal can serve for finding medicines in
the future and details of both views will be clarified in
this essay.

Due to the suffering of animals whilst participating in the


experiments, it can be considered as unethical.
Experiment methods and scientific projects can have long
lasting detrimental effects on animals and usually occur
for a long time period. For instance, monkeys have been
used by human to conduct various types of experiments
such as injecting chemicals which is considered to be
causing pain and life threatening.

As illnesses and pandemic evolving, animal testing is


essential to improve the medical field. In terms of
genetics, several species of animals are appropriate
substitution for human subjects due to their match of
genetics with human. Using animals for substitution in
scientific test can be a major factor to achieve success in
science and facilitate scientists to find new cures. For
instance, the global pandemic that causes crisis among the
world, Covid-19, can be eliminated by the new vaccine
that is the results of animals experiments. Despite the fact
that testing on animals are not needed because of the
differences in human physique & animal physique,
however it helps minimize the risks on human body.

To conclude, scientific testing on animals can be


unethical and have detrimental effects, however, the
experiments are essential to serve the purpose of
developing medicines.
