Kya mera dharma mujhe Hastinapur ka saath dene ki


deeksha deta hai, ya vo mujhe unka saath dene ki deeksha deta hai jinke saath
anarth hua hai? Kintu anarth ki paribhasha kya hai? Kya tab anarth hua tha jab
maine Draupadi ke cheerharan ke samay kuch na kaha? ya fir jab maine jooye
ke khel ko nahi roka? Aaj main iss padav par hun jahan ek oor parivar hai aur
dusri oor bhi parivar hai, par ek oor sneh ki bhavna aur dusri oor ghreena ki
bhavna kyon hai? Mujhe hamesha hi Arjun se sneh tha, Pithamah ki padvi usi
ne to di thi mujhe, par aachank mujhe Durdhyodha ke prati ghreena ki bhavna
aa rahi hai. Maine apne pita to vachan diya tha ki main sadayev Hastinapur ke
sihasan ka saath dunga, par yadi vachan dharam ke aade aaye to main kya kar
sakth hun? Par vachan nibhna bhi to mera dharma hi hai. To main kise sahi
samajhu aur kise galat? Agar main aaj naa hota to…. Par jo ho gaya aur jo nahi
hua uss par chintan karke ab hoga hi kya? Yathsamay mrityu ko sweekar karna
bhi sambhav nahi hai, kaayar ki tarah yudh se bhaag nahi sakta, par yudh me
veerta dikhane ki shakti mere boodhe hriday me nahi hai. Main kitna bhi sahi-
galat pe tark-vitark kar lu, kal bhor ke samay jab yudh shankh ki goonj mere
kaano me aayegi, main apna rath to Kauravon ke kheme me hi lagayunga,
mere baandh to mere Arjun par hi chalenge, mere sneh par hi chalenge.”
