Three Phase Input to DC Output UPS
Always On’s new Three Phase DC Rectifier enables the controlling and monitoring of the DC
output of the UPS system. This new system compliments our product line with the addition of
the DC output option to our current Three Phase UPS systems.

The versatile Rectifier is designed specifically for:

The Orion System allows authorized personnel to monitor, adjust and maintain the system
through an intuitive, easy to use LCD-display Control Panel. The key functions of the Control
Panel are password protected to prevent unauthorized access.

This interface provides the customer with a wealth of information regarding the status of the
system, key information, logged events and alarms as well control and configuration
functions. These features are described in detail below.

Control Panel Features:
The Status Menu Displays:

¾ The input, output and battery functionality


¾ The status of the breakers and contactors
¾ The current statuses of operation mode, phase, output and input
¾ The metering of input / output voltages and current, plus battery capacity.

The Key Information Menu Displays:


¾ The product manufacturer, serial number and part number
¾ The Input / Output voltage ratings
¾ The Unit Power Rating.

The Logged Events and Alarms Menu:

¾ Displays the currently active alarm events and the details


¾ Displays all logged alarm events and the details
¾ Silence Alarm – turns off the alarm (Note: the alarm will sound again if a new alarm
occurs)
¾ Upload - all alarm events are uploaded to a PC.

Battery Equalization / Battery Testing:


¾ Controls the running of the battery equalization function
¾ Controls the running of the battery testing function.

DC Output:
¾ This function controls the enabling and disabling of the DC Output.

¾ Set Points:

ƒ High / low voltage limits of output

ƒ High / low current limits of output

ƒ Output voltage.

¾ Set battery equalization level, run frequency and duration.

¾ Set system clock.

¾ Set password for configuration menu access.

¾ Set display brightness and contrast.
