Description of Domino Card Game

What is the Domino Card Game?


Domino card game is an innovative learning media that
modified from the common domino card game.
The common domino card game is a rectangular paper
divided into two square ends. Each tip marks has several spot
or blanks.
The Definition of Domino Card Game
The domino card game is the learning media that aim to
improve the students’ vocabulary mastery. It consist of two
square ends. In the left side, it has a picture of animal. And in
the right side, it has a description/characteristics of animal.
The advantages of Domino Card Game
 The domino card game is easy to make.
 The domino card game is easy to play.
 The domino card game is an efficient media.
The advantages of Domino Card Game in Teaching and
Learning Activity
 The domino card game can improve the students’
vocabulary mastery.
 The domino card game can make the students active and
participated during the learning process.
 The domino card game can improve the cooperative
learning in a group.
The rules of Domino Card Game
O The teacher explains how to play the game including its
rule.
O The teacher divides the students into several groups; one
group consist of six or seven students (conditionally).
O The teacher gives one set Dominoes cards to each group,
and the students should not show their cards to another
group.
O The teacher asks each group to mix up the Dominoes
cards and place them all facing down on the table. They
can set up the Dominoes card in any shape they want.
O Each group match each picture with the description
provided in the domino cards.
O The winner is a group that can finish arranging the
Dominoes cards correctly. To make it simple, the teacher
re-constructs the winner is the group who can finish in
arranging Dominoes fast than the other group.
O The teacher asks each of the students to pronounce and
spell the vocabulary related to the material.
