General Precautions:
1. Authorized minimum personnel to enter the area, (Operation & SAPMT shall decide in advance the number of persons allowed to work). All other personnel should
be restricted from the job site.
2. Install warning signs and barricades keep people away from the job site.
3. Use only appropriate and good condition tools for the job.
4. Work permits for the job shall be taken as per the requirement of GI 2.100 (Work Permit System).
5. Pre-task briefing to be conducted prior to start any task.
6. Safe means of access for all the personnel designated to this job.
7. Use / wear the appropriate types of PPE including special PPE, if required for the specific task.
8. No radios or mobile phones are planned to use. Switched off mobile phones (Mobile Phones Restriction).
9. Contractor Supervisor will coordinate and confirm with Control Room Supervisor and Operations of any upset or abnormal situation. Maintain close coordination
and communication at all times with the Operations and Proponent.
10. Keep plant operation on standby alert prior and during job. In case of any upset, they must be available to respond immediately.
11. Inform RSS and other plants about this job before it started.
12. In case the plant emergency alarm is sounded, all work must be stopped, all permits will become automatically cancelled and Emergency Response Plan to be
followed.
13. Monitor the weather forecast that might affect the settlement or condition of Spheroid Tank due to strong wind or earthquake or heavy downpour leading to soil
collapse.
14. Stop work when wind speed for crane operation reaches more than 32 km/hr
