The following are the goals for 2030 Agenda Sustainable Development; number 1 goal is to end
poverty, Many poverty affected regions of the world will soon be home to growing urban populations;
The rural and urban farms that produce, manage and distribute food, carry a shared responsibility to
end hunger; Physical and mental health has an impact on so many aspects of a human life that’s why
they take it into consideration to ensure that everyone have healthy lives; Education is still severely
affected by a number of existing and partially growing socio-economic inequalities, thus, ensures quality
education and learning opportunities for all; Aims at ending discrimination and violence against women
and girls and ensuring that they have equal opportunities in life that boys and men have; Better
management of water and sanitation is needed to sustain human wellbeing, while preserving the
resilience of the ecosystem; Accelerate sustainable energy solutions; Stimulate sustainable business
development and job creation, while safeguarding environmental sustainability; Develop closing the
gaps between different regions and widespread infrastructure and industrialization; Reducing the high
levels of inequality which creates poverty traps and impact all aspects of human development;
Transform how cities and dwellers lifestyles towards sustainable practices; improve efficiency in terms
of resource extraction, energy use, and waste management; Reduce emissions, adapt to climate change
and enhance resilience; Oceans, seas, and marine resources should be conserved and used sustainably;
Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests,
combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss; To ensure long-
term development, promote world peace, ensure universal access to justice, and construct effective,
responsible, and accessible institutions; and lastly, find new financial means to implement the 17 SDGs,
while also cultivating cooperation at the global, regional, national and local levels.
