Topic: Why Recycling is Important?

Good morning everyone, today I am giving a speech on Why Recycling is important? What

recycling means?

Recycling is the process of reprocessing the material like a glass bottle into a glass showcase,

paper cartons into different crafty items and renewing all those items that we considered as

garbage. Have you all ever thought about how many tonnes of garbage we all produce in one

day?. The Environmental protection agency gives its data on this question. So, according to the

Environment Protection Agency," The average person produces over 4 pounds of junk every day

and about 1.5 tons of solid trash every single day.

As humans, we all are responsible for polluting the environment every day but it is not too late to

do something to protect our beautiful planet earth. One of the easiest ways to do this is recycling.

Sharing my personal experience with you I have been recycling paper cartons, plastic bottles

since I am in junior high school and still am doing it regularly because I thought a small

contribution will make a big change to protect the environment.

Talking about the advantages of recycling there are many reasons for it but at this moment I will

focus on three supreme reasons for recycling. The topmost advantage is Recycling saves the

earth. As we know paper comes from trees and tonnes of trees are being cut down to produce

paper. If we recycle the paper we use can help to reduce the rate of cutting trees. According to

States were recycled for one day" the Second benefit is recycling helps to alleviate Global

warming and depletion pollution as by recycling the non-biodegradable waste grant a lot to

reduce air pollution and greenhouse gasses. Last but not least recycling helps us to save our

money. By selling recyclable materials to the organisation that recycle the different materials

into useful products. Always buy recycled material and fortunately recycled products are less

expensive than products made from fresh material.

You all are surprised to know that recycling is the easiest task. You just need to collect different

recyclable products and categories them product wise like glass, paper, organic and inorganic.

And sent it to the recycling company who produced it and manufactured the new recycled

product.

Recycling is not a complex task even a young one can do recycling only by separating garbage in

organic and non-organic and the most joyful part of this is you can do it in your home. If we all

want a shining future for our children and grandchildren and want to provide a pollutant-free

environment then we have to take actions right now so that we make inspiration for future

generation to keep our environment clean. So let’s start recycling and make a difference and a

better future, let’s do it today.
