6 Select your name from the "Reviewer" drop down list box (Required) Hide The current status is indicated by "Show" if the items
are "showing" and "Hide" if the objects are currently
7 Select your discipline from the "Discipline" drop down list box (Required)

[Valentin Gheorghita - Kitchell] The Air Handlers are on emergency

power. According to the Preliminary Project Description only the fans are
required to be on emergency power. Clarify if the electrical heaters
95% CD All ME 021 N M1 SERIES II inside the Air Handlers will be disabled during emergency power
operation. This relates to the sizing of the emergency generator.

A/E Response:

[Valentin Gheorghita - Kitchell] The Air Handlers are on emergency but

the Terminal Units are not. Clarify the failure mode of the boxes (NO or
NC) and ensure the system will function during emergency power

[Valentin Gheorghita - Kitchell] Recommend providing a couple of

sections through the Central Plant to clarify arrangement of equipment
and piping. Also recommend indicating key clear space requirements
95% CD Central Plant ME 023 N M1.51 II that have to be maintained in order to allow future equipment to be
transported inside the building and installed in the allocated spaces.

A/E Response:

[Valentin Gheorghita - Kitchell] The Fire Alarm Narrative in the

Preliminary Project Description indicates the FACP monitors FSDs,
selected supply and exhaust fans, and tamper / flow switches in the
95% CD All ME 024 N M1 SERIES II automatic sprinkler system. The Mechanical drawings do not show any
communication with the FACP. Please coordinate and clarify.
