Getting Started
Typical User - General Information:
1 Before starting, check with the project Team Captain to ensure the workbook is ready for input
2 Locate the "DrcInput" menu group in the menu bar above (it should be the last group on the right)
3 This menu group is available on all spreadsheets in this workbook; different items are available, depending on which sheet you are using
4 Using the sheet tabs at the bottom of this workbook, select the desired discipline sheet (this is where your comments will be placed)
5 Select "Begin DRC Input" from the "DrcInput" menu group DefaultAction for Show/Hide Resolved Comments
6 Select your name from the "Reviewer" drop down list box (Required) Hide The current status is indicated by "Show" if the items
are "showing" and "Hide" if the objects are currently
7 Select your discipline from the "Discipline" drop down list box (Required)
"hidden". These are changed in Module1, subs
8 Select your Company Name from the "Company" drop down list box (Required - default = Kitchell) DefaultAction for Show/Hide Sheet Notes glbShowNotes() and glbUnHideResolvedComments()
9 Click the "Start" green button Hide
10 Input your comments using the dialog box. This method will ensure all required information is input
11 To add new comments, click the "New/Post Comment" button and add your comment.
12 Once all comment information is entered, click the "New/Post Comment" button to post your comment and prepare for the next comment entry
13 To review/modify or resolve previous comments, click "First", "Previous", "Next","Last" or "Go To"
14 To Resolve a comment, move to that comment and check the "Resolve Comment" checkbox.
15 When finished with comment entry, click "Exit"; to check spelling select "Yes" from the "Spell Check" dialog box (only checks comments for spelling)

Team Captain - General Job Setup Information


1 Select "Show Team Captains Sheet" from the "DrcInput" menu group
2 On the "Team Captain ONLY" sheet, do the following:
3 Add names to the "Reviewers" list as needed, using LastName, FirstName format (do not leave blank rows between entries)
4 Change the building names to match the project requirements (do not leave blank rows between entries)
5 Ensure all disciplines are entered in the "Disciplines" list. To add new disciplines, select "Add Discipline" from the "DrcInput" menu group
6 Ensure all Company Names for the Reviewers are listed in the "Company" list…typically, this will be Kitchell, but may vary if user comments are included
7 Enter current job information: Job name, number, bid package, phase, and issue date by selecting "Setup Current Job" from the "DrcInput" menu group
8 When all job information is complete, select "Return to Setup Only Sheet" from the "DrcInput" menu group
9 Note: Do NOT move ANY of the lists; the programs look for information in these specific loctions, so DO NOT MOVE!
