G. Speaker/Strobe
Speaker/Strobes shall be programmed as outputs in the access control system. On activation of two or more lock down
buttons simultaneously within the building, all speaker/strobes shall annunciate. Speaker/strobes shall remain activated until
reset within Honeywell ProWatch following confirmation by a dispatch officer that the lock down situation is cleared, or upon
all lock down buttons being manually reset. The speaker shall annunciate a Wav file message and the strobe shall flash

The elevator hall call button shall be interfaced with the access control system. During normal hours of operation when the
building is in an unlocked state schedule the elevator hall call button shall open the elevator cab door. During an “after hours
schedule' presentation of a valid security credential at the card reader will enable the elevator hall call button for a single use
timed interval. The second floor hall call buttons shall always be operable after hours. During a lock down situation the
elevator hall call card reader shall be disabled and the elevator hall call buttons inoperable from the exterior entry. Free
egress shall always be maintained from the elevator cab.
Intrusion alarm monitoring system shall be programmed in zones. The administration area shall be its own zone. The
administration area shall be armed independently of the rest of the building as required. The District Police shall also be able
to arm/disarm the intrusion alarm system remotely from the Honeywell ProWatch work station by zone and by building.
Lockdown Monitoring -- The campus police Honeywell ProWatch system will provide alarm monitoring capability of all door
lockdown pushbutton requests from classrooms. A dynamic graphic campus map will indicate the building and classroom
location within the building for dispatching purposes. Video situational aware cameras, where available, will be activated by
the alarm condition. The dispatching officer will be able to lock the entire building or the entire campus via. a software icon on
the ProWatch campus map. Alternatively, a latching pushbutton in the campus dispatch center will initiate a campus wide
lockdown.
