Title: OH&S POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Performance Objective:
In the tool shop, given the supplies, computer components and
peripherals, materials, and equipment, you are required to identify
the different computer components and peripherals and their
specifications.
Time: 30 min to hour.

Supplies/Materials :
Computer Parts & Tools

Equipment :
Complete working computer with monitor, keyboard, mouse,
CD ROM drive and AVR

Steps/Procedure:

 Turn on the PC and go the CMOS setup. Manipulate the boot


sequence in order for the computer system to boot first from the
CD or DVD drive.
 Partition the hard disk drive into two using exact drive size for at
least one drive. Ask your trainer on what will be the drive size to
use.
 Install MS windows 7 home operating system.
 Install MS Office 2007. (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint only)

Assessment Method:
 Written exam
 Practical exam/demonstration
 Observation in workplace
