God Exists: Why Science Proves God

The document summarizes arguments for the existence of God from a scientific and philosophical perspective. It argues that the precise conditions needed for life on Earth, from its distance from the Sun to the makeup of the atmosphere, suggest design rather than random chance. It also contends that the complexity of structures like the human eye and cell formation timelines make an accidental origin unlikely. The document further suggests that widespread belief in supernatural or moral instincts across cultures provide evidence for God. It acknowledges the problem of evil but asserts that human free will and character development necessitate allowing suffering.

 God exists

Why science proves God:

Most Atheists believe that Science and God oppose each other. They
believe it was the big bang that started it all and then somehow
everything just started forming and after billions of years we are now
living in this world with everything working perfectly around us. How
incredible is it to believe that the universe, in its infinite complexity,
could have just happened by chance? Just think about it. Now this is
all going to be very scientific and a bit hard to take in so bear with me.
Take a look at the earth and the perfect position it is in this universe.
If it was smaller an atmosphere would be impossible (like mercury
and moon); If it was larger the atmosphere would contain free
hydrogen (Jupiter and Saturn) The earth is at a perfect distance from
the sun- if it was to be any closer or farther away from it, it would be
way too hot or way too cold. It would be almost impossible for
complex life to survive without the moon. The moon locks the Earth
into a stable position with the sun. As a result the equator always
faces the sun and the poles have always been perpendicular. Planets
that lack large moons wobble, and at times the poles face the sun
and the equator rotates perpendicular to the sun. At those times the
temperature and light extremes would exterminate all complex life
forms. Basically our planet is just the perfect distance from the sun,
has the perfect amount of water, perfect chemistry of the atmosphere,
gravity, soil, perfect position, tilt and rotation of the earth, a magnetic
field and an ozone layer. Even a small change could have prevented
the development of life on earth. The total odds of a planet being in
the perfect place in the universe for life to be able to exist on it are 1
in 150,000,000,000,000,000.( 15 quintillion)
Now try to imagine how long it would take for a blindfolded person to
solve a Rubik’s cube. The astronomer Sir Fred Hoyle estimates it
would take 1.35 trillion years, therefore its impossible. Now think
about cells. In every human cell there are about 200,000 amino acids.
The time required for all of those 200,000 amino acids to come
together by accident would be about 293.5 times the estimated age of
the earth. The odds of this happening are way smaller than a blind
person trying to solve a Rubik’s cube. The more and more we find out
about science the chances of our existence originating by accident
become so small they can be completely ruled out. Now consider the
human body. It is an astounding and very complex organism. The
design of the human eye is astounding. The way everything works
perfectly: the lens, retina, and brain (although I would love to I’m not
going to get into details for your sake) that enable us to have vision is
evidence that there must have been a creator. Even Darwin in his
Origin Of Species stated “To suppose that the eye, with so many
parts all working together…could have been formed by natural
selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree.”
Apart from all the scientific numbers I think that simply the beauty of
the earth, each animal, each plant, sunrise, sunset, the universe is
proof that he exists. (Show pictures) Romans 1:19-20 (NIV version
states)

“19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because
God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world
God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have
been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so
that people are without excuse.”

Addressing the Evolution vs. Creation theory:

Many people believe that the Evolution and Creation theory

completely oppose each other. Many well meaning Christians argue
that the world as it is was literally created in 6 days as it says in
Genesis 1. Days of creation are not to be understood as being literal
days, but rather should be viewed as six periods of time (each
stretching millions of years), and that the days of Genesis 1
correspond generally to the geological ages. I believe that evolution
and creation easily go together. Theologian Davis Young notes, “The
language of Genesis 1 strongly implies the processes of natural
growth and development, initiated by the fiat of God’s word”.
There are seven basic assumptions that are often not mentioned
during discussions of evoluion.1: nonliving things gave rise to living
material, spontaneous generation occurred.2.Spontaneous
generation occurred only once.3: viruses, bacteria, plants, and
animals are all interrelated.4: protozoa gave rise to the
metatozoa.5.the various invertebrate phyla are interrelated.6:
intervertebrates gave rise to the vertebrates.7: vertebrates and fish
gave rise to the amphibians, the amphibians to the reptiles, and the
reptiles to the birds and mammals. These seven assumptions are
not capable of experimental verification. It takes faith to believe in
science. I personally think Atheists are people of great faith. (Show
quote)

They believe the entire wonderful universe came into being all by
itself from the smallest subatomic particle to the most immense
galaxy and from the amazing complexity of the human mind to the
love between a mother and child. I guess I just don’t have enough
faith to be an atheist 

The existence of morals in every culture prove God:

Another proof of the existence of God is the existence of morals in

every culture and every human being. Every culture has had its gods.
The ancient cultures had their fertility gods; the Greeks and Romans
had their pantheon; Judaism, Christianity, and Islam have their one
god of all. Mixtecs, Moche, Mayans, South America, Meso America,
Tarahumara, Navaho, Pawnee, Celtic, Basque, Malta, Hopi,
Cherokee, Arapaho, Anasazi, Asia, Mesopotamia, Africa, Maori I cant
list them all, all these ancient cultures and nations had belief in
supernatural. At all times and in all places people have thought that
there is more to life than the material world around us. Belief in a god
or gods, it seems, arises naturally all over the world. The fact that so
many societies have independently come to religious belief in
God/Gods requires an explanation. Is this just a coincidence? I think
that they’re some truth that this widespread instinct to look beyond
the physical world.
Also, morals can’t be proven scientifically, but they are like a law
engrained in us. Every person has a conscience, a sense of right and
wrong. Although we can dull that sensitivity to morals over time by
forcing ourselves to think differently it is still there as faint as it is and
no one can deny that. Emotions also prove God; we can all agree
that emotions exist. We’ve all felt happiness, sadness, grief, loss,
jealousy, love, anger and so on… Emotion is an experience that can’t
really be proven. Although we know in our heart that they are surely
real since we’ve experienced them. Faith is the same, it’s an
experience that can’t really be proven but any person who’s been
through it cannot deny that it is real.

Why is there evil?

The classic argument against God is the existence of evil why does
God allow suffering? Why do innocent people suffer? Why kids are
born in sickness? Why are there wars? Why are there fatal diseases?
Why are there murder, stealing and so on? They say either God is all-
powerful but not all good, and therefore doesn’t stop evil; or He is all
good but unable to stop evil, in which case he is not all-powerful.
People generally tend to blame God and to pass on all the
responsibility to him.
God created man perfect, not evil. However, he gave us the ability to
either obey or disobey him. Man is the one responsible for sin. Many
people mentioned “Why didn’t God make us so we couldn’t sin?”
Well, I’m pretty sure he could have, but if he had we wouldn’t be
human beings. Rather, we would be robots, machines designed to be
perfect without the privilege of choice. Emotions are voluntary and if
he didn’t give us free will we would cease to be humans. Who would
want that? Who would want to be an emotionless creature without
free will and beauty of the human nature? I guess God thought that
creating us this way is worth the risk. God allows suffering as
judgment and punishment. God allows suffering for character
formation and a way to put our trust in him. God has fully met the
problem of evil in the gift of his own son. The consequence of evil is
forever removed for those who accept him.
