Preface
Most of all, in order to speak Korean properly, you should know how
to read Korean correctly. I think this is the most important reason
why you should practice reading Korean.
Since I started teaching Korean, I have struggled to find reading
materials that all Korean learners can enjoy.
Although there are plenty of suitable reading materials for different
Korean levels, I saw that many of my students were uninterested and
found them boring. The problem was the content of the reading
material. So I decided to make a storybook full of funny and relatable
stories. That is intended to make every reader giggle.
Every story is based on my own or my friends' experiences.
I wrote it in a way so that every Korean learner can enjoy it and
understand it easily!
If you are ready, let's enjoy reading 'Kwangho's Daily Life!'

Grammar Check
Verb stem / ADJ + 네(요).
You can use this pattern when you want to express yourself,
when you are impressed or surprised by something.
Also, when you talk to yourself,
it is also possible to use this pattern.
Examples
to be small 작다 + 네요 ⇒ 작네요.
(Oh, it’s smaller than I expected!)
to be pretty 예쁘다 + 네요 ⇒ 예쁘네요.
(Wow, she is so pretty!)

Grammar check
this, last, next + “day”
This is a really common mistake for Korean learners.
Basically, this is 이번, last is 저번, next is 다음 when it comes to the day.
So, this week is 이번 주 / last week 저번 주 / next week 다음 주
this month 이번 달 / last month 저번 달 / next month 다음 달
However, ‘year’ is different.
this year 올해 / last year 작년 / next year 내년.
And here is an even more important thing!
When you want to say [this/ last/ next and ‘day of week’] in Korean.
you can’t say 이번 월요일 / 저번 토요일 / 다음 일요일.
It makes sense but we don’t say it like that.
In this case, we literally say ‘이번 주 월요일 / 저번 주 토요일 / 다음 주 일요일' like
‘this week Monday / last week Saturday / Next week Sunday’
‘Weekend 주말’ also works like this!
Because these things are included in a ‘week’.
One more thing!
When you say ‘this morning, evening, night etc’,
this will be 오늘 and when you say ‘last night’,
we say 어젯밤 (어제+밤, to make better pronunciation, we put ㅅ)
