COURSE The course deals with the nature of identity, as well as the factors and forces that affect the development and maintenance of personal identity.
DESCRIPTION
ESSENTIAL At the end of the course, students must be able to:
OUTCOMES
1.Discuss the different representations and conceptualizations of the self from various disciplinal perspectives.
2.Examine the different influences, factors, and forces that shape the self;
3Demonstrate critical and reflective thought in analyzing the development of one’s self and identity.
4. Understand the “self” from wholistic view point.
4.Understand, acquire and apply practical self on how to manage and care for the different aspects of the self.
COURSE 1. Asynchronous Outputs – learning log essays, psychological tests and reflection papers of the results, weekly journal and analysis
