financial and moral support. For encouraging the intern up to continue studying and giving
them guidance throughout the course of the training.
The intern would also like to express his appreciation to Mr. Leonilo D. Dollente for the help
in becoming the client of the intern.
And lastly, the intern would like to extend his gratitude for Mr. Jake Derilo and Mr. Jovenal
C. Barja Jr. for cooperation with the activity during the training.
Without the said people above, the project of the intern will not be a success. With the help
of these people, they made the project a reality and the intern can’t thank them enough.

                                       Contextualization
Due to the occurring pandemic, the Sorsogon State University has adopted a virtual
internship program to cope with the needs of the students in on-the-job training course. The
internship program is a six week distance learning course comprised of 240 hours. The
intern is free to choose what kind of project he wants to make that is connected to his
program Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. This project will be made in four
week span which includes the client interview, description of the project and many more.
The intern has chosen a project of making an electrical plan for a house of the client. The
intern used AutoCAD to make the electrical plan.
                         Internship Focus/Objectives/Justification
The virtual internship and seminar intends to empower students to acquire bits of
knowledge and improve their abilities in an online climate with exercises identified with the
program's center topics. Eventually, every student assumes liability for being proactive
online in drawing in with the educator/temporary position guide and different members to
accomplish the temporary job targets.
By the end of this course the intern is expected to exhibit familiarity with the morals
engaged with doing a temporary job, depict, investigate, and orchestrate their learning
experience in the temporary job as an entry level position paper or story report, survey the
difficulties of current advancement projects pursuing maintainability, elements of work
places and the progressions that showed pre-and existing-pandemic circumstance and,
gain significant experience despite the difficulties in their field of study.
                                                                                            1

Timetable
The intern’s project has a one month span that includes the meeting with the client,
planning, creating the design, finalizing and modifying the electrical plan to meet the client’s
demand.

Technical Aspects
The project’s aim is to create an electrical plan for the client’s house. After meeting
and discussing with the client, the intern acquired the specifications to create the floor plan
of the client’s house. The intern used AutoCAD to make the floor plan that will be later used
to make the electrical plan. The intern then set and placed the lighting and power system
using symbols.
And lastly, the intern modified and modified the design to suit the client’s desires. The
intern plans to place a standard 100 amps service panel board to accommodate the lighting
and power systems, and also the appliances that will be used in the house. There are ten
duplex receptacle outlets and ten 5-watt and 3-watt LED lights. The wire that will be used
will be the 14-gauge wire, all of these components are placed in the electrical plan with
their own respective legends.
                                                                                               2

                                     SELF-ASSESSMENT
Critical Reflection on Internship Experience
 a. Skills, Knowledge and Current Technology Learned/Enforced
The intern used the knowledge of some formulas that were learned and the skills
that that the intern acquired for the past courses he took in the program Bachelor of
      Science in Electrical Engineering.
 b. Equipment, Software/Database, Testing Apparatus, etc. Handled
The intern used the software AutoCAD to create the electrical plan and Google for
searching necessary information that assisted the intern’s completion of the project.
 c. Strong Points Versus Weak Points
The intern’s strong points were somewhat used in making the project whereas the
weak points are by some means all the same because the project tackled by the
intern did not necessarily need to overcome or improve the weaknesses to finish the
      project.
 d. Best Experience on the Project
The intern’s best experience in making the project was the process of making the
electrical plan because it was a new and fruitful experience that will help the intern in
the career he will take on in the future. The process of the project that the intern
went through was somehow felt as the beginning of life in work.
Analysis of Critical Issues/Themes
The intern is concerned by the fact that the project’s scope was limited by the
current situation which led to the sense of lack in accomplishment. Bounded
knowledge, skills, and resources were also factors that the intern is worried that the
project scale is insufficient to allow progress in terms of growth in his profession and
to better the chances in the upcoming years of his career.
                                                                                              3
