Activity 1 What is kidney?

What is the function of kidney?

Announcement Teacher relates the previous knowledge of students with 2 minutes


of the topic topic and announces the topic name and writes it on the “Kidney”
board.
Presentation 1 Teacher will tell about the definition of kidney. One of a pair 25

Then teacher will tell about the Functioning of the kidney.

Teacher will explain the functioning of the kidney with
suitable examples. Then teacher will tell about the role of
kidney in osmoregulation. Firstly teacher will tell about the
definition of osmoregulation (the control of the amount of
water and salts in body according to the needs). Then teacher
will explain the role. Then teacher will ask some questions
to students.

The teacher will also use chart to explain the structure of


kidney and its functions for better understanding of the
students.

understanding about topic.
