How do you think animals communicate through their sounds?
Animals communicate through variety of sounds to communicate their thoughts, feelings, or threat. This
is called auditory communication a sound that an animal makes to send or receive information. Animals
use this to transfer information from one animal to another or a group of animals to another group.
Another way animals communicate is through Visual signals which include gestures, facial expressions,
body postures, and coloration. Then Tactile signals - touch which is more limited in range than the other
types of signals because organisms must be right next to each other. For instance, bullfrogs croak
incredibly loud when they're looking for love, loons produce strange vocalizations when feeling
threatened and want to protect their territory, monkeys make different calls to indicate different
predators nearby, lastly gorillas hum when dinner is ready and to show they're happy.
What you think will happen if others are not able to communicate?
Obviously, without communication, everyone will be misunderstood and won't be well as one or it will
be difficult being together. If there is no proper communication, they won't be able to understand each
other's intentions and emotions. They will lack not only in understanding information but also there will
be conflicts that can cause problems in their relationships. For example, the prey is being attacked by a
predator, the prey can't ask for help or tell others that he is being attacked because there is no
communication. The cause is others can also be eaten by the predator because they don't have a clue of
what's happening. Communication is so important because this helps them to find mates, establish
dominance, defend territory, etc. Communication is important not only to animals but also to us
humans. Without communication, the world would be chaotic.
