1. BAR MANAGER-Also known as managing directors or chief operating officers, general managers are tasked with overseeing daily business activities,
improving overall business functions, training heads of departments, managing budgets, developing strategic plans, creating policies, and communicating
business goals.
2. The duties of a head bartender include, making drinks, possessing a large knowledge of drink recipes, checking for proper identification, maintaining the
appearance and cleanliness of the bar area, replacing kegs, handling employee issues, handling customer complaints and disturbances, scheduling employee.
3. Bartenders-Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials. Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving
beverages to customers. Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
4. Bar waiters-greeting and serving customers, providing detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties and collecting the bill. If
you are able to perform well in such an environments, we'd like to meet you.
5. Cellar Man They make sure the customers are of legal drinking age before serving them alcohol or tobacco products, asking for identification if necessary. They
serve a wide variety of beverages -- from soft drinks to beer, wine and spirits
6. Dispense Man– another type of bar is called the dispense bar. It is a bar which is used for the preparation of the drinks for staff who then delivers them to
customers elsewhere, for example at table in a restaurant.
7. Sommelier is a trained and knowledgeable wine professional, typically working at an upscale or fine dining restaurant. Sommeliers are responsible for every
aspect of the wine service, starting with the creation of the restaurant wine list and ending with floor service to restaurant patrons
