ABSTRACT

This report is prepared during the discernment at Explore Ville Capital Campus.
In this report all of the points related to school the board, staff, school and
classroom environment, pupils contribution and teacher's sufficiency have
been researched thoroughly. After that I will talk about how much the
experience influenced my longing to teach.

PART 1: OBSERVATION
With the end goal of my instructor observation, I chose to go in the class of
grade fifth at Explore Ville Capital Campus. The general space of the school
was preferably huge more over 1 kanal. There are 16 instructors in this school
having their own classrooms to direct their classes. There are 250 pupils
studying in the school. The entire time of the school was partitioned into
various periods.
I had chosen class-5 and the purpose was to learn things from ground level.

School management gave me a chance and permitted me to finish my

practical work in various classes. On 6th September 2021, the administration
coordinated my initial gathering with class-V instructor Miss Sehrish in the
principal office and told her about my job. I found her extremely helpful in this
absolute first meeting so by the mutual allowance, I permitted coming on
Tuesday, i.e 7th September 2021 to officially begin my practical work. I arrived
at school at 7:45 am and gone through the entire day till 10:45 pm consistently
during my practicum work for the classroom just as school observation.

I spent whole time in grade fifth classroom where Miss Sehrish was instructing.
When i entered the classroom, I promptly feel a warmed welcome. At the point
when I entered in the class, I saw that there is a mat at floor, loaded with
shadings and colours and this welcome cause me to feel simply that. I saw that,
on the divider there were number of pictures energizes learning systems.
There are pictures of colors, shapes, name and fruits’ pictures, and charts about
parts of speeches etc. There are extended model of living things and non living
things at cupboards and hanging in the wall. This is supposed to give fun twist
on learning for learners. Moreover, i noticed that there was a bright chart was
hanging on the wall, showing assigned time for each subject. Additionally
board showing a code of morals with discipline tracker. The general climate of
the class was exceptionally enjoyable and welcoming.

The class was partitioned into the various parts. The educator dice for
conveying lecture, instructor's desk for checking copies of the students, pupils'
desks, and reading corner. Miss Sehrish began her class with reading. She
strolled between the seats of students that were situated in U-shape to visually
connected with every child. Subsequent to guaranteeing eye contact with
every student, Miss Sehrish start clarifying what the story is, she might want to
peruse before the students today. She utilized the group modifying by
intermittently posing inquiries to the students as she read. She asked the
students by relating the words or characters used in the story.

As i mentioned earlier that all the students were divided into groups and Miss
Sehrish explained to me that all the students are categorised into groups
according to their marks in previous final exams. She told me that this is the
best way to know that with whom she would have to work for a whole year after
making specific group of students in the class. She further told me this way
students can perform better and achieve good results than individual activities.
So as a result, there was a gap of classroom management, sometimes she
could not have made completely overall the classroom. Overall, it was an
efficient lecture by Sehrish Khan.
After explaining her SLO’s she asked her students to divide in their assigned
groups at their concerned places. The children who needed the help more,
worked efficaciously while Miss Sehrish was there to teach on individual group.
I observed that how often she would have to talk time away from her teaching
to discipline the other students. How she often would had to stop to ensure that
nobody was creating nuisance in any way to disrupt her class. Now this time
the classroom environment was thoroughly changed.

I observed that how much time had wasted in non-teaching activities of the
classroom., showing a big deficiency of classroom and classroom
management. To avoid this type of issue, Miss Sehrish had already announced
that if any student will be misbehaved in the class during her lecture then he or
she will be loose her annual disciplinary reward as a prize, as a punishment.
Then students will obviously loose their grades. After this announcement all
the student’s behavior automatically improved.Indeed, Miss Sehrish is very
hardworking teacher of the school. In other words, I can say that she is an
asset for the school, who annotated a way of teaching, applied such strategies
that all the students change their behaviors.

Besides this, the school environment was very good. It was cleaned and well
maintained. It is an effort of whole staff under the guidance of Principal Ayesha
Jehangir. The school bathrooms were also clean , there was hanging towel
with mirror and soap in the bathroom. It was a great experience for me, I am
fortunate who joined a well-disciplined school, as for best learning, a best
school and best environment is required.

PART 2: REFLECTION

I believe that this was a significant and fantastic experience for me of the
teaching practice. I'm extremely glad to learn all important strategies, methods
related to teaching, school management, school management affairs and for
being familiar with the characteristics of a decent and successful instructor. I
would strongly recommend Miss Sehrish to intrigued fellows searching for
some place to become familiar with the teaching expertise and skills. She just
not had a good command and control but also a firm grip on her subject. She
has phenomenal conveying power with reasonable examples during the
lectures. I learn so many teaching techniques, by observing Miss Sehrish's
class activities. I adored that how she had made distinctive space of the
classroom separate for every aspect and i loved that how she had assigned
different groups of the students according to their intelligence. I loved the
school’s environment that was very homy and welcoming. This experience has
opened my eyes, in true sense. I have learned that qualified teacher
encompasses different teaching qualities. A teacher must has to perform
his/her duty honestly.

ABSTRACT
The following report is prepared during the observation Miss Laraib at Explore
Ville Capital Campus. In this report all the angles related to school
management, classroom environment, student’s contribution and teacher’s
efficacy have been observed in detail. After that I will talk about how much the
experience had influenced my aspiration to teach.

TEACHER OBSERVATION REPORT

PART 1 OBSERVATION:

For the purpose of my teacher observation, I decided to go in the classroom at

1 class at Explore Ville Capital Campus. The overall area of the school was
rather large more than 1 kanal. There were 16 teachers in this school having
their own separate classrooms to take their classes to teach them. There were
almost 250 students studying in this school. The whole time of school was
divided into different periods for each subject separately.
The most time of my last observation was spent in grade 1 classroom. In this
class Miss Laraib was teaching. It’s a fact that after walking into the classroom
I immediately warmly welcomed by the pupils. I noticed that there was a
doormat with full of colors laying in the front of floor just as class V. “Welcome”
was written over he mat. I observed that there was a great colorful, bright and
beautiful model for the different lessons. There were pictures related to
different fruits, colours, shapes tat we made by different class students. The
environment of the class was very good. There were 18 students in the class.
Before starting her lesson Miss Laraib made certain that all the students were
sitting attentively in their concerned rows allowed, she walked around the
students by calling them for heir attendance.
Then, Miss Laraib asked her students to sit in groups. Students, then, sat in
groups after joining two benches and desks for each group. Miss Laraib began
explaining what she is going to teach her class today. She told students
today’s lessons outlines, lesson of math practices exercise.First, she asked
questions to memorize the lesson of previous day, I observed her excellent
method for revision the exercise through questioning answering, which shows
that the picking and understanding level of the students was so good.
After making sure the revision of the lesson, Miss Laraib linked her toady
SLO’s with the previous day SLO’s. It showed that the hierarchy level of the
mathematics and understanding. It was a topic of addition and subtraction. I
liked her teaching techniques because she mostly used such type of examples,
which were suitable for class 1 students.
Before starting her exercise, she made sure that the students are giving their
100% contribution and make eye contact with each of them. After reading the
today’s lesson she called group monitors to the white board to solve some
exercise for their groups. She called monitors one by one. After this activity she
wrote some questions on the white board and ask all students to solve all
these questions under the guidance of their group monitors. Every group
member respond positively and actively in this regard. I noticed that all the
students had cleared their today’s SLO’s and they do not have any issue.
The school environment was very clean and well maintained. The credit goes
to the head of the school, Ma’am Ayesha Jehangir, who have lot of abilities of
the management to run the school with efficacious and responsible manners.
The bathroom was also clean. There was no better place to learn than this
school. Students feel very comfortable in Explore Ville Capital Campus.

PART 2: REFLECTION.

I believed that was a fruitful experience for me in this school. I am very happy
to learn all these skills and expertise related to the creation of classroom
management and overall a best environment for the study. I would strongly
recommend Miss Laraib to interested students who want to study and learn
something informative in efficient manner, must join Explore Ville Capital
Campus. She just not had good command only but also a firm grip on her
subject. And she also has excellent and learnable delivering power. I observed
that students always enjoys her company during the study because of her
effective and interesting teaching methods. So she mostly created a homy
environment in the class. There were 18 students sitting in the class but she
had controlled them efficiently. I loved and learned that how she had allocated
different groups of the students and taught them and made sure that every
student had got today’s SLO’s. I found it cute that how she had little note cards
with each student’s name and she would flip from card to card after each
question, so that every student gets a chance to participate. She also had a
different student every morning to lead the morning exercise. She later
explained that this was to refresh the students up and get their blood race so
that they can participate actively for learning. I thought this was a unique and
clever way to keep the students active, refresh, attentive and ready for
enthusiasm to learn. I loved the environment of school. As I walked down,
whether coming or leaving, a number of staff always smiled or said good
morning, and meant it. The students had smiles on their faces and it was clear
that they enjoy coming to school every morning. The experience has truly
opened my eyes and made me realize that teaching really is what I would love
to do for the rest of my life. However I’m sure, it will be a lot of work, I have no
doubt in my mind that molding young minds positively is the right path for
future leadership.
