Example 1: Do you like these different places to eat?

A: Do you like to eat with your family?


B: Yes, of course. Because my family can eat together after a tiring day at
work. I like feeling that. How about you?
A: My family often goes on an outdoor picnic. We bring food such as
sandwiches, rice rolls,…Do you like to eat at restaurants?
B: No, I don’t. Because some restaurants the food is not good but the
price is very expensive. I still prefer to eat at home. And do you prefer to
eat at the canteen or eat with friends?
A: I prefer to eat with friends. Because we can prepare a barbecue party
and have fun together.
B: Why don’t you like to eat at the canteen?
A: Because the canteen is noisy and crowded
B: Ok!

Example 2: Do you like these different holidays?


A: During the holidays, I often go out with my friends. We go camping
and eat the BBQ. Do you like going camping?
B: Yes, of course. I like it. Because my friends and I can sit and talk
together. And do you like to travel?
A: Yes, I like to travel. Because I visit many beautiful places and can
learn many new things. Do you like going hiking or going to the beach?
B: I prefer to go hiking because I can see everything from above when I
stand on the mountain. And do you like going hiking?
A: No, I don’t like it. I like going to the beach. Because I really like to
swim and my parents also like the sea. So do you like to go skiing?
B: No, I don’t. Because it’s very dangerous.
A: I think so.

A: In my free time, I often watch movies and go out with my friends. Do
you like to go out with your friend?
B: Yes, I like that. Sometimes I meet my friends at the cafe and play
games together. Do you like playing volleyball or rowing?
A: I like playing volleyball. Because I can play with my friends.
B: And how about rowing?
A: I don’t like rowing because I don't know how to sail and my friends
don't like it either. Do you often go on a picnic with your family?
B: Yes. My family organizes a picnic in our free time for everyone to
have fun together.
A: Oh. That’s great!

A: Where do you like to go on a picnic?
B: I like to have a picnic in the mountains. Because I love the feeling of
being one with nature. How about you?
A: I like to have a picnic by the lake. Because the lakeside air is very
fresh and cool. Do you like to have a picnic at the park?
B: No, I don’t. Because nothing new at the park so it’s boring. Do you
prefer to have a picnic at the beach or in the woods?
A: I prefer to have a picnic at the beach. Because I can eat seafood and
watch the sunset over the sea.
B: Why don’t you like to have a picnic in the woods?
A: Because it requires survival skills and is very dangerous.
B: I agree with you.

A: Do you like to go by cyclo?
B: No, I don’t. Because It’s too slow. And do you like to ride a bike?
A: Yes, I really like to ride a bike. Because I can ride a bike every
morning to exercise. That helps me have a healthy body. Do you like to
go by bus?
B: No, I don’t. Because the bus is crowded. Sometimes I have to wait for
hours to catch the bus. Do you prefer to travel by car or plane?
A: I prefer to travel by car. Because I can go by family car and it is
convenient for my travel. How about you?
B: Personally, I prefer to travel by plane. Because I like to see everything
from the plane, it saves me a lot of time traveling long distances.
A: Oh great!

Example 8: Do you like these different places to study?


A: Where do you usually study?
B: Outside of class time, I often go to the library of school to study with
my friends. How about you?
A: Outside of class time, I often go to major bookstores and libraries to
find more materials to support my studies. Do you study on the bus?
B: No, I don’t. Because on the bus it’s very noisy and I can't concentrate
on my studies. And you, where else do you study?
A: On stressful days, I often go to quiet places like under a tree to read
books and study documents.
B: Oh. That’s great!
