Hello Anna,
Thanks for getting back to me. I will watch this videos by tomorrow. Thank you for sending this. Inline with
this I will also attach the screenshot of my English exam result on this email and my audio introduction
about me.
Please read my response on the questions below.
Please answer the questions below:
Do you have a room completely for yourself or an office set up so you can focus on your work?
I have both set up. I have a room set up with one laptop and an extended monitor. The other one is we
have a co-working space business that we operate 24/7; I also work there from time to time.
What is your internet provider?
For the home setup, I have an internet speed of 30 MBPS and mobile data with a bandwidth of 20-30
MPBS. My office internet speed is around 50 to 100 MBPS.
Where are you located? Do you experience power outages? How often on a weekly, monthly
basis?
I'm located in Iloilo City, Philippines. So far, electricity here in my location is often stable, and they have a
maintenance schedule on weekends in a monthwa. Every month, there are only one or two power
interruptions.
Video Editor question list:
a. What are your strengths and weaknesses in editing/creating videos?
My strength is that I have a lot of patience and will not give up. I am always looking for feedback and input
from people I trust, and then I can then revise my work based on what they say. Moreover, I am a
perfectionist. My weakness is that I don't have a sense of creativity in writing a script. I rely a lot on
feedback from my peers in terms of grammar, content, and lip-sync with the video.
b. What was the most difficult task you have experienced in creating an image/video?
I’ve never created an image or video that I found truly difficult, but I’ve taken great joy in making my own
(free) art. I’ve created many photos, videos, and even music for my clients, business, and projects. It’s
something I do because I enjoy it. I find it relaxing and inspiring at the same time. The most challenging
task for me is deciding what to create next. There are just so many ideas in my head!
c. What makes you a good dropshipping/e-commerce video editor?
An excellent dropshipping editor is also a good storyteller. A storyboard is one of the most foundational
tools I use when outlining dropshipping or e-commerce ads. Using a simple template can help me figure
out the sequencing and elements of my ad, from graphics to voiceover or even a written overlay text. It is
essential to highlight the value and benefits of a product when making videos. Also, use a compelling
hook; the first 3 seconds of the ads can make or break a campaign. It's within those three seconds that
someone decides whether they're going to keep watching or scroll past. Another way to help attract
customers would be to upload real-life videos and images of the products.
d. How would you know when a video that you created is a success?
A successful video is like a clear and well-to-the-point message that can be understood quickly. If you're
not the intended audience, the message needs to grab your attention in the first few seconds so it won't
get lost among other content in your inbox/feeds. An effective video integrates the brand's unique value
proposition, which directs how it will be perceived by its target audience. A strategic plan determines what
type of voice or tone brands will use when communicating to their audience; this guides how it will be
produced, distributed, and shared.
e. What video editing software do you have experience with?
Adobe Premiere Pro and Sony Vegas are what I use. Sony Vegas is easy to use, and I’ve always found it
reliable. It’s cheap, and they’ve started updating it and adding cool new features to it. You can’t go wrong
with basic video editing. Adobe Premiere is the industry standard, and for a good reason. It’s easy to use
and powerful.
f. What is your structure in creating a dropshipping video ad?
In order to come up with a video ad for a dropshipping business, it is important to be familiar with the
overall goals of the ad campaign. In most cases, the main goals of a video ad are to increase sales or to
encourage engagement with the brand. You have to have a clear idea of what you want your customers
to do after they've watched the video. In this case, my actual process is to do research first. Do research
on competitors' ads. The second thing is to gather videos and images from suppliers' websites or even
competitors' videos, or I can create my own video as long as we have an actual product. The third and
final stage is to compile all the videos and look for suitable audio or music.
g. What makes a good scroll stopper?
A good scroll stopper is one that doesn’t get in the way of the customer’s buying process. It should give
interesting and valuable information which the customer finds helpful. The customer should be able to get
to the Buy button without having to scroll. The scroll stopper should be designed to get the customer’s
attention and to move him to the site’s main goal. The hope of a scroll stopper is to capture the customer
and offer him a reason to stay on the site and learn more about the product or service, or brand.
h. If the materials (graphics, videos) for a certain product are limited, like there's not much product
image or video available online, what should you do in order for you to finish the creatives?
I always experience this in my previous job. My solution for this problem is to have the product ship on my
end, and I will shoot photos and videos out of it.
I will wait for the result of my application. Thank you.
Regards,
Michael
