Earth work Earth excavation of foundation trenches and plinth in all kinds of soil upto
required depth and width including cutting & uprooting of roots of trees if any, shoring, bailing

Supplying and laying of single layer polythene sheet weighing one kilogram per 6.5

6 Cement Concrete:
Cement concrete work with (1:3:6) in foundation, floor and where required necessary in
proportions as detailed in sub items below using 19mm down graded picked jhama chips as
coarse aggregat and coarse sand (FM-2.0) as fine aggregate including breaking chips in to
required sizes, screening and washing of aggregates centering, shuttering, mixing laying
concrete compaction to materials etc. complete in all respect as per drawing, specification and
direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

coarse clear 100% Sylhet sand (F.M.=2.5) and well down graded Stone chips of proportion
which actually is to be determined by trial mixing but any case not less than the ratio as
mentioned accordingly with strict control over water-cement ratio as per standrd code of
practice having minimum ultimate cylinder crushing strength f'c=3,500 psi(concrete sylindrer
test will have to be performed at 3 days interval and test report will have to be submitted to the
client) of concrete at 28 days, compaction or vibrating by mechanical vibrators, including
centering, woodenl shuttering, proping, placing thick polythene sheet on the surface,
scaffolding where ever necessary, mixing by power driven mixture machine, laying true to
level making provisions for expansion joints, construction joints, recesses, projection if
necessary, casting, casing in forms, supplying of all materials and curing for a period of 28
days by ponding fresh water etc. (excluding the cost of reinforcement and its fabrication)

bricks to required sizes wherever necessary with high class recessed pointing, cleaning and
