The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major effect on
our lives. Many of us are facing challenges that can be
stressful, overwhelming, and cause strong emotions in
adults and children. Public health actions, such as social
distancing, are necessary to reduce the spread of COVID-
19, but they can make us feel isolated and lonely and can
increase stress and anxiety. Learning to cope with stress
in a healthy way will make you, the people you care
about, and those around you become more resilient.
Filipinos are well known for this characteristic, we can be
resilient at all means and all times.
To our career driven and zestful School Principal III,
Dr. Lourdes Remonte-Bigcas, the 2 beautiful and

Thoughts are like organisms. They have distinct
characteristics that can affect our mood, influence our
behavior, and multiply to take on a life of their own. To
share the Thought for the Day, lets welcome Ms. May M.
Tolosa. Maya? Thanks Maya for that inspiring thought
which would drive us to listen, participate and reflect on
this afternoon’s activity.
At this juncture, lets welcome with a virtual clap, the
Prime Mover of Daraga NHS, our very energetic and
witty School Principal III, Dr. Lourdes R. Bigcas for her
Inspirational Message. Mam Des? Thanks Mam Des for
the message you’ve shared to us this afternoon and
Taking care of yourself can better equip you to take
care of others. During times of social distancing, it is
especially important to stay connected with your friends
and family. Helping others cope with stress through
phone calls or video chats can help you and your loved
ones feel less lonely or isolated.
At this point, lets welcome the 2 lovely speakers for
the session proper. Take it away, Wendz and Ms. Ange!

At this time, where we are still experiencing
the universal health crisis, we need to care for others by
following certain rules specially IATF protocols and with
this we become selfless. We care for people around us but
most specially it’s a necessity for SELF LOVE. At this
point, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my
gratitude to our speakers who selflessly shared their
knowledge on this debriefing and extending their time and
effort for this endeavor. Also, please convey our BIG
THANKS to the Guidance Associates for conducting this
PFA to the different departments of DNHS. And of
course, to the participants to this Psychological
Debriefing Session, the MAPEH Teachers who were so
patient and very cooperative to the activities set by the
speakers. With this let me say “It’s Ok not to be Okay”
because its right to be honest to yourself and remember….
This had been your emcee for this afternoon, Ms. Jonee
O. Ayende, saying “Lets be optimistic amidst this
pandemic” and “#saDaragaMunaka”.
