(PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION]
Thank you for y.pur having adopted the level switch, model LIC-75.
To fully exert the performance of the instrument and obtain the
stable control, pay enough care to the mounting, etc.
The level switch, model LIC-75 is to detect, alarm or controol the level in a point.
By contacting the measuring material like liquid, powder, slurry, etc. to the probe
rod that the measuring material level is protruded in the tank, the electrostatic
capacitance and conductance between the probe rod and the tank wall (in case ot the
conductive material, itself) are changed. By detecting this change, it is converted
and output to the relay (ON-OFF) signal by the electronic circuit set in the probe
rod head, and the existence or the measuring material is detected.

(NOTE ON HANDLING )
For the mounting, securely fix by the screwing or with flanges. Pay attention so that
the direct rays of the sum or direct rain water are not exposed. Insert an probe rod
into the tank as long as possible. In case of horizontal mounting, shorten the nozzle
and/or dent as much as possible.

(ADJUSTMENT)
O)Keep away enough the measured material from the probe rod (Empty the tank.)
@It is safe that the connection of NO, COM, NC, etc. related to the external control
circuit remains taken off till the completion of adjustment.
(3)Set the scale of the knob for adjustment (hereincalled the knob) to "10 11 • In case
with electronic timer, the timer knob shall remain left counterclockwise to the full.
( 0 second side)
@After ending the above-mentioned operation, feeci the power supply. In case the LED
operation indication remains lit, since there is an abnormality in the prob~ rod
section, repair it.
(IDAnd then, silently turn the adjusting knob to the direction of scale O, and confirm
the pbint that the operation indicating LED comes on. This is called the base point
of adjustment. Even if the knob is turned till the scale 0, when there is no base
point, turn the trimmer for auxiliary adjustment (hereinafter called the trimmer) by
90 degrees, and search for the base point again. If the base point is smaller than
the scale 5, there is no hindrance in the adjustment. It is .convenient to .make the
total number of switches used as the same base point in terms of the maintenance.
( It is recommended to make the scal.e 2 as the base point turning the above-mentioned
trimmer little by little. )
@)After the base point is determined, turn the knob in the direction of "10" to the
extent by 1 to 5 scales. (By the physical property) With the above, the adjustment
is completed, After adjustment vertically move the measured material 2 to 3 times,
and confirm the operation~
[Carry out the following only for the timer type.]
(1,)Set the electronic timer knob. By the clockwise rotation, the setting time is
extended.

measured material, and confirm the operation.
