Product Concept:
The main target of model B273 is to protect from printer base MFP, which is crossing the printer border
into copier area in MA business. Secondly, to maintain & expand the new market for Ricoh which was
acquired by B173 with newly acquired features especially with network standard. And lastly, to fulfill the
needs by B273 which B121/B129 series do not meet the needs for the customers who requests simple
function with network capability but with low pricing.

Note: Although this model does have 5 parts that may require replacement, actual replacement of these
parts is expected to be very rare considering the ACV (1,000 prints) in relation to parts yield and machine
lifetime. For instance, if a customer prints 1,000 prints/month at ACV = 1,000 outputs, the Fusing Unit will
be due for replacement 80 months after installation, which is longer than the machine lifetime. Therefore,
we regard these parts as “yield parts”, with the basic approach that no PM will be required
