Reaction Paper in the Movie “Seven Sundays”
The Cathy Garcia-Molina film ‘Seven Sundays’ a movie that has given me
inspiration and more love for family. At the story, Performed by great actors Ronaldo
Valdez as Capt. Manuel Bonifacio Aga Muhlach as Allan A. Bonifacio Dingdong
Dantes as Bryan "Bry" A. Bonifacio Cristine Reyes as Charmaine "Cha" A. Bonifacio
Enrique Gil as Dexter "Dex / Baby D" A. Bonifacio.
Manuel had four children: Allan, Bryan, Cha, and Dex, all of whom were
preoccupied with their own lives. As the old man's loneliness grew, he decided to
divulge his health status in order to re-unite his family. The lack of communication in
the family is one of the numerous topics addressed in the film and in real life. The
four kids scarcely had time for one another, and when they did, they fought and
argued a lot. It appears that their father decided not to tell his condition first since his
children do not listen to him. He is unable to bring them together due to their
numerous alibis and explanations. They don't even get along as siblings, and they
argue even in front of their father. It was quite heartbreaking since their father desired
nothing more than for them all to be together. Is that difficult? Will you, as a
youngster, be denied of the opportunity to spend time with your parents? especially
when they are old and infirm? So you can simply cry over how fantastic our film's
plot cycle is. In other words, it is the narrative of a family, not of a perfect family, but
of a regular Filipino family that faced financial, togetherness, and bonding challenges
throughout their lives. Second, this film was created from the heart rather than the
imagination. Every scene, plot, every love and devotion line is pieced together. Third,
this masterpiece will remind us that no matter what happens in our life, good or
terrible, there are always those who will support and guide us. Sometimes all we have
to do is turn around and gaze at our heart - our family.
They may have combined their differences to find better answers to their difficulties.
It was a lesson the Bonifacios had to learn the hard way. What matters most is that, in
the end, they reconciled their disputes, relaxed their defenses, and stayed loyal to their
family. Above all, love came first, which is the ultimate purpose of all human beings.
In the grand scheme of things, it's the reality that most of us confront with our own
families. The Bonifacio family only reflects the fundamental unit that we encounter in
our daily life. We all have our own personalities and lifestyles aside from the
individuals with whom we share our blood, but just like in the movies, we must
choose love.
Because of this, we young people will be more aware and pay more attention to how
we can give back to our parents and how we can give them back the love they expect
from us. Let our family be the center because they are the only people who can give
us exceptional love.
