With the first part of this course, it made me realize that Sales Career is a fun yet challenging

Job. You wont last long if you don't have a great foundation to stand on. As mentioned we think
that all sales person has the same characteristics to thrive, but the greatest foundation they could
have is Grit, when we talk about grit in sales this is when someone is drive with perseverance
and passion for long term goals. They are courageous in a sense of they are not scared of setting
their goals high, may it be twice or twice the target they have. They are passionate on what they
do, they don's just put a buying pressure on their customer but they seek to understand their
needs. Sales career is very enticing to the facts that possibilities are endless, it increases your
value as a person. On the other hand, with sales you cannot avoid the frequent rejections ,
unlimited loss sales and such but it this couldn't define you for who you are. This doesn't mean
you're a bad salesperson. This is just a part of molding your self to a better you. It all starts with
proper mindset, not reacting with your emotions but critically thinking the best possible way to
cope up adversities.

In building your sales career. It's vital to understand the different factors that could affect your
over all productivity and performance, such as the different roles under sales. This allows you to
clearly understand what you really want to do, where do you want to explore ad where would
you grow as an individual. Another factor, are the company/ industry you are applying for, we
should always remember that it is hard to go on a battle with you bringing a knife. You wouldn't
win if the battleground you're in requires guns and bullets.

The most important thing you do to get your sales career off the ground, you must know yourself
very well, you should know what area do you want to grow in this field. Or do you want to do
sales? It all boils down to analyzing your self more and more, considering all the factors could
affect your career. Because at the end of the day if you don't have the passion to do it, this might
result your huge waste of time and your greatest downfall.
