Complete Blood Count: Result Test Reference Range

Mr. Ketan Chavan, a 29-year-old male, had a complete blood count test done at Crystal Lab on August 12, 2011. The test results showed that he had a low hemoglobin level of 15.5 g/dL, low RBC count of 4.6 million/cu.mm, and elevated RBC indices including MCV of 82.17 fl, MCH of 33.70 pg, and MCHC of 41.01%. His platelet count was within normal limits at 155,500/cu.mm. The peripheral blood smear showed signs of hypochromia, microcytosis, and anisocytosis in the RBC morphology.
