General Introduction
AERO Electric Motors are defined as totally enclosed, fan cooled, squirrel cage type and noted for their novel design,
beautiful model, compact structured, low noice, high efficiency, large torque, excellent starting performance, easy serving, low
energy consumption also benefits the environment. The motors are adopted with F class insulation and designed with assessing
method for insulation system according to international practice, it enhances greatly have reached an international advanced level
of the same kind of products at the initial days of the 90’s.

AERO Electric Motors can be widely used as driving equipments of various machineries, such as machine tools,
blowers, pumps, compressors, transporters, agricultural and food processing. Pedestal installation size and centre height and
other index of the motor completely measured.

General Specification
 IP 55 as minimum – higher ratings are available on request.
 Cooling Method: IC411
 Standard motors are rated for continuous duty at full nameplate rating – S1.
 These motors are designed for operation in high ambient temperature of 40 oC or more. The standards data relates to ambient
up to 40oC and attitudes below 1000 meters.
 Standard motors have class F (100oC) insulation, with a class B (80oC) temperature rise. Only high quality polyester covered
copper winding wire is used in conjunction with inorganic high temperature polyester varnish. Motors with class H (125 oC)
insulation are available on request.
 Stator and rotor laminations are produced from low loss, double insulated, and silicon electrical steel.
 All motors are designated for high efficiency and low temperature rise giving a long economical service life.
 High quality bearings are used on AERO Electric Motors. In general the bearings have C3 clearances and are preloaded with a
wave washer on the drive and which increases bearing life and reduces bearing noise.
 Standard noise levels (sound pressure at 1 meter) are well within the requirements of most standards, and are generally below
80dB (A) for small motors and 85 dB (A) for large motors.
 Shaft s are made from high quality carbon steel
 Stator frames are made of HT200 cast iron.
 Fans are made from glass reinforced polypropylene for small motors up to 280 frame size.
