Allow back dated posting periods

Scenario:
There is a requirement, to allow back date postings for delivery documents and invoice
documents against sale orders.
This should be effective from DEC 2020 period.
As aware that SAP standard system provides to post any documents allocation for last 2
months (i,e current month and previous month).
Kindly suggest there is a way to allow back date posting periods without any data
inconsistency for future any postings can be done.
