Directions: in another piece of paper, answer the following:
1. Identify three most important qualities you look for a leader.
Communication is at the top of the list of key leadership traits, which should come as no
surprise. The efforts of the leader to connect with his/her team, manage and coordinate
initiatives, and develop trust inside the business can be made or broken by how well you
communicate. Leaders who put their employees first communicate effectively. They
communicate depending on their team members' needs and preferences, and they listen to
and comprehend the employee experience. Leaders that have a clear vision and can
convey it to their team are effective. Leaders should be able to link the job they conduct
on the ground to the wider picture and explain why they do what they do. Employees
who are able to accomplish this are better able to comprehend and coordinate their job
strategically, as well as connect more deeply with their work. Good leaders are
accountable to themselves and are constantly striving to develop and progress. They
never seem to be content with the status quo. Accountability and continuous
improvement necessitate a willingness to seek and act on feedback, learn from mistakes,
and correct course when necessary.Communication of plans, creating expectations, and
following up on promised actions are all examples of accountability. Good leaders hold
themselves and their teams accountable so that everyone is on the same page and can
count on each other to complete the task.Everyone benefits when accountability is
modeled from the top.
2. Which do you think should come first to this country to finally achieve political
stability, good leaders, or a multitude of enlightened voters?
I am convinced that decent leaders should come first to this country in order to attain
political stability, because it is only through good leadership that graft, corruption,
political rivalries, and power or authority greed will be eradicated. Having strong leaders
represent our country will broaden the understanding of its citizens, eventually resulting
in a large number of informed voters. We generate good followers as a result of good
leaders. As a result, because we have good leaders, every citizen of this country must live
a life of honesty, nobility, and honor. Excellent influencers produce good people who are
worthy of their country – Filipinos who are worthy of the Philippines.

1. Name five leaders you admire most and discuss their leadership philosophy.
1. Jose Rizal is among the leaders I admire because his words and writings paved the way for
our country’s independence by opening the minds of Filipinos. One of the reasons we are free
today is because of his leadership. He battled for fair treatment for all Filipinos, even if it
meant giving his life, and his heroism continues to benefit us now. His leadership ideology
and purpose is to liberate Filipinos from the Spanish government’s corruption, harsh
treatment, and persecution. He did not act in his own self-interest, but rather to better the
lives of his fellow compatriots. 2. Martin Luther King, Jr. is a well-known leader who was
instrumental in the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which outlawed discrimination
based on race, religion, or color in the workplace and elsewhere. His crucial movement paved
the way for today’s civil rights, allowing his fellow countrymen and race to live in freedom.
His leadership ideology entails a nonviolent, yet successful, movement that allows for a shift
in equity for Black Americans, who were discriminated against and inequitably treated at the
time. 3. I particularly like Pope Francis because, as a practicing Roman Catholic, I can see
how he is working to change the world for the better. Despite criticism, his work affects not
only Christians but all people throughout the world. He addresses current-day issues, which
has aided me greatly because listening to him motivates me to do good and live my best life.
His leadership philosophy entails demonstrating humility and empathy to all individuals
around the world in order to change their lives. He also believes that communication is
essential for understanding and that each of our lives has significance or purpose. 4. Andres
Bonifacio, a Filipino revolutionary hero, founded the Katipunan, a secret society which
spearheaded the uprising against the Spanish. Bonifacio maintained his dignity and sincerity
of purpose. He thought that the Katipunan’s goals were divinely inspired, because the
people’s will is also God’s will. It demonstrates the need of working together, no matter how
difficult the conditions are. Bonifacio would very certainly be the first to acknowledge that
the revolution was the result of collaboration. Collaboration and goodwill toward others, such
as coworkers, are just as important today as they were in Bonifacio’s day. 5. Dr. Miriam
Defensor Santiago has become a globally famous figure because of her legal genius and
courageous example in the battle against corruption. In numerous ways, she has brought
respect to the Philippines. She is the first Filipino and Asian from a developing country to be
elected to the International Criminal Court by the United Nations. The International Criminal
Court (ICC) hears cases involving heads of state. As a result, she helped to put the
Philippines on the world map in the twenty-first century. Unfortunately, she had to decline
the opportunity to serve as an ICC judge due to a serious illness. The platinum woman, the
tiger lady, the dragon lady, the iron lady of Asia, the queen of popularity polls, and the
unquestioned campus hero have all been given to her. To her millions of supporters, though,
she is best recognized for her particular brand of charismatic leadership, dubbed “Miriam
Magic” by the media.
