GLOBALIZATION AND MEDIA

The rapid advancement of technology, particularly in ICT,

over the last two decades has altered many previous concepts and

intellectual frameworks. These advancements provide humanity with

more opportunities and incredible abilities to explore and expert

the world. If we want to be optimistic, we should say that

humankind empowered with new technologies is freer and more

powerful than a human 50 years ago, and that these technologies

have enabled him or her to overcome many obstacles on his or her

path to progress. The internet and the new generation of media

based on the internet are two prominent examples of technology

that bring people closer together and more accessible than in the

past, and it is similar to living in a global village.

Globalizations is no longer a new issue, and anyone can find

a wealth of information on the subject in academic journals or

public spheres such as newspapers and media. Indeed, the growth

and pervasiveness of the media prepare countries and local

nations to receive global content and information, thereby

speeding up the globalization process.

This paper attempts to investigate the relationships between

media and globalization and to answer the question, "How does

globalization occur from a media perspective?"

What good comes from globalization snd media?

To believe that the role of the media in the globalization

process is crucial. And, in my opinion, the media is a part of

the globalization process; it is the "pen" of the globalization

process, because it shares everything that the globalization

process dictates. The Internet, which connects all places in the

world, plays an important role in the globalization process. The

Internet is referred to as the "World Wide Web." So, when we talk

about the globalization process, we should remember that the

developed countries already globalize a lot. However, some

countries do not globalize sufficiently. Others may argue that

ideas flow in multiple directions, resulting in less

homogenization and more diversification of ideas and lifestyles.

Even these broad models obscure the true breadth and complexity

of media's global reach. If we are to discuss the role of the

media in the globalization process, we must first define the

media. As a matter of fact, we believe that the media plays an

important role in hastening globalization. As a result, global

media contains many specific details that positively offer

knowledge of perceptions of various cultures, religions,

economics, and beliefs to our human lives, which completely lead

globalization powerfully.
How do we plan to answer the research questions?

To be certain of answering the research question, we must

first research the topic in order to fully understand the issue

or the main idea of the question, and then conclude all of the

websites that are reliable and credible, noting down all of the

research we've found that is relevant to the topic.

A research design is a strategy for answering our research

question. The research design refers to the overall strategy you

choose to integrate the various components of the study in a

coherent and logical manner, ensuring you will effectively

address the research problem; it serves as the blueprint for data

collection, measurement, and analysis.
