UNDERGRADUATE THESIS
Working on Web to Wap Conversion using J2SE as my final year thesis. As the
part of our 4th year 1st semester work we have build a software that can convert
HTML pages into WML pages for server side. Wap supported devices are able to view
the converted pages via gateway used in the server.
As the part of our 4th year 2nd semester work we have developed a Mobile
Browser using J2ME for client side. This Mobile Browser can browse pages from
any domain, parse HTML page contents convert them cHTML and view them to the
small screen device like mobile phone.

INTERESTS AND ACTIVITIES
Working with Linux Kernel and Customization. I am working with Linux and
shell programming and have an interest to working with Linux kernel.
Already I have customized a Linux distribution Ubuntu 8.04 and Ubuntu 9.04 with
new look and necessary softwares for end users and programmers. Also customized
and localized some open source softwares.
Assistant General Secretary (AGS), SUST Open Source Network from June,
2007 – June 2009, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. It is a voluntary
organization.
General member of core group of Bangladesh Open Source Network (BDOSN).
