Materials needed:
1. YarnArt Jeans, 55% cotton, 45% acryl, 50g/160m, next
colors:
• for body – red color № 51
• for hat – white № 62, light-blue № 75, blue № 17
• for nose – beige color № 05
2. Some any semi-wool yarn for beard.
3. Crochet hook 2 mm or 2.25 mm (US: B, UK:14)
4. Holofiber, thick sewing needle, pins.
5. Piece of cardboard 4 on 4 inch for one gnome’s base.
If you follow this advice your gnome will be 16 cm or 6
inch.
Yarn tip: cotton/acryl or cotton 100%

Connect light-blue yarn.
Rnd 29-33: sc in each stitch around 5 rounds.
Cute the yarn.
Finish the round in an invisible way: pull the end of yarn
through the last stitch completely, thread the end of yarn
through the needle, skip one stitch and guide the yarn into
the next stitch as shown on the photo.
Insert the needle back in the same hole where the yarn
comes from. Fasten the obtained stitch.
This stitch is called a «closing stitch». When you are
finished, fasten the yarn on the back side of detail.
Arms.
Start with white yarn.

Stuff the bottom part of the arm
(palm) with stuffing material, you

the arm.
Then squeeze the hole of the hand so

Crochet the opposite stitches with 4-5
sc.
Cut the yarn, leave a long end for
sewing.
Repeat the same for the second arm.
Nose.
With beige yarn.

For beard cut the semi-wool yarn, tie a piece of yarn to
the 8 sc of 25 round.
Attach the arms, and nose to the body with some pins.
Attach the arms between 25 and 26 rows of the body.
Attach the nose’s center between 25 and 26 rows of the
body.

Put on the hat. The top of arms and
nose should be placed under the hat.
Move them the way you like.
Take off the hat, sew the arms and
nose to the body.
Put on the hat and attach it to the
body with hidden stitches.
