SCOPE OF WORK For produets to be delivered in conformance with DNV Rules for Classification of Ships/High Speed and Light Craft, the following conditions will come into force: 1.1 Reference Documents I. DNV Rules for Classification of Ships/High Speed and Light Craft Pt.4, Ch.2, Sec2 A 102 and Pt.4, Ch.3, Sec.1 A 100 and B 700, Tl. Manufacture of engines according to Perkins Engines standards as follows: 5147 TIT, Marinisation of engines according to Sabre Engines standards as follows: 5147, 5156, 5163 & 5164 and LRQ 0931484 TV. Assembly and Testing of gen.sets according to F.G.Wilson standards as follows: TI6999A- and LRQ 0939354. 1.2 Testing and Inspection The verification of correct testing and inspection is entrusted the Manufacturer on the basis of documented and accepted procedures and the use of qualified personnel familiar with the DNV Rules ‘The prime focus of this MSA is to cover engine compliance with SOLAS requirements to insulation of hot surfaces. double walled high pressure fuel pipes with leakage alarm and sereening of pipe couplings in low pressure fuel and lube oil piping 1.3 Audits performed by DNV Compliance with the conditions agreed in this MSA is subject to control and review by auditing as follows: Periodical audits of the MSA function are to be made at intervals not exceeding | year. REPORTING BY MANUFACTURER 2.1 Manufactus 1g Records Records shall be made of the relevant manufacturing data and the results of all specified testing and inspection necessary for conformance to the Rules. A siatement of manufacture and test confirming compliance with DNV Type Approval Certificates, MSA, SOLAS and other relevant regulations and requirements shall follow each engine delivered to a DNV classed vessel (samples attached: 5151, LS) Place and date.
