2. OUTLINE

1) The Nippon Sharyo hydraulic hammer is a unique, new type unit completely different
from conventional ones which drive piles by lifting a ram to a certain height with a
hydraulic cylinder
cylinder and then letting it to drop by free ffall.
all.

The Nippon Sharyo hydraulic hammer is an epoch-making unit employing a “double

action” method in which the ram is forcefully accelerated by both hydraulic pressure
oil from the pump and high pressure gas to augment impact speed and thus creating
greater blow energy.

3. FEATURES

1) High blow rate, providing

providing better work efficiency.
2) Small longitudinal dimension, together with smaller size of adjacent leader and base
machine to be installed, makes transit
tr ansit easier.
3) Good blowing efficiency with
with deeper penetration per blow.
4) Small loss of hydraulic circuit, achieving
achieving less fuel cost.
5) Stabilized ram fall height adjustment because
because of installation of proximity switches.
6) Ram fall height can be confirmed at driver’s seat by adoption of ram fall height
indicating monitor.
7) Short stroke of cylinder, enabling longer
longer seal life.
8) Reduced fluctuation of hydraulic pressure lessens vibration of hose connecting
hammer and base machine, and lengthens hose life.
9) Sound insulator of our unique design for pile and cap blow enables work in low noise
noise..
10) Cushion wear alarm provides machine driver
driver with wear information of cushion.
