Executive Summary
Walton is the pioneer of electric product manufacturing in Bangladesh with the slogan "Made in
Bangladesh." Starting from 2006, they are now the first multinational manufacturing company in

We also use Porter's five forces model. Where we discuss: the threat of new entrance, the threat
of substitute, industry rivalry, bargaining power of buyers, bargaining power of suppliers. We
gave a company overview and industry analysis. Here we mainly analyze Supply chain
management, Inventory management, and we also analyze Operational performance analysis like
productivity and competitiveness. We also discuss some of the operational problems that Walton
has and how they combat them. Walton's way of producing and delivering its mass products like
Refrigerators is becoming more efficient and faster. Which will help them to catch new markets
in the world and gives more sustain power against competitors. Walton tries to provide their
customers the best service quickly; the Refrigerators and freezer industry is gradually increasing
day by day. At last, we concluded our Report with some recommendations for smoother and

Walton's inventory management is the system of ordering, storing, using, and selling the
company's inventory of refrigerators. These cover the storage and processing of raw materials,
components, and finished goods and the administration of raw materials, components, and final
products. Walton manufactures all the parts used to assemble their refrigerators in the
warehouse.

compressors is produced every 10 days, and the production is run for 7 days.

As Walton manufactures their compressors, the safety stock is kept at relatively low levels at
around 100 units. Production starts and runs for 7 days. After the 7 day run time, the inventory
level reaches the minimum annual cost at 667 units. The inventory stock then falls to the safety
stock amount after 3 more days, marking the 10-day cycle time. At that point, production starts
