Research Gap
Q1. How many numbers of people with no registrations of their vehicle?
Q2. How many numbers of vehicles with illegal documents?
Q3. What is the ratio of people riding expired registration vehicles?
Literature review
India is the second largest country in Asia after China. Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru,
Ahmedabad, and Chennai are the top five cities in India in terms of its population and
GDP. Due to Rapid Urbanisation, the vehicular density too increased.
This is the review for number of motorcycle users in India. India with an estimated 37
million motorcycles, was home to the largest number of motorised two wheelers in
the world. In this review we cover details of motorcycle users in India with regards to
users in the various states, percentage of users, states with highest numbers of riders,
common motorcycles in India,
Maharashtra had the highest registered two-wheeler count at the end of fiscal year
2019 amounting to approximately 35 million. There were over 295 million registered
vehicles in the country that year. Two-wheelers made up a share of about 75 percent
of the total vehicle fleet in operation across India in financial year 2019. A growing
urban population means rising incomes which translates into a burgeoning number
of vehicles on the road. In 2019, Uttar Pradesh has the greatest number of two-
wheelers in the country at 26 million, followed by Maharashtra 35 million and Delhi
7.6 million.
Pune has the highest percentage of vehicles owned by families. Pune district is higher
than any other district in the state, says the state economic survey. The ratio of
vehicles against houses puts Pune ahead of Mumbai. The household survey states
that while the percentage of two-wheelers in Pune district is 48.8%, it is only 16.6% in
Mumbai and 15.3% in Mumbai suburban area. The population of the Pune district is
recorded at 94.27 lakh in the survey. The population of Thane district is 1.10 crore,
whereas population of Mumbai and Mumbai suburban area is 31.46 lakh and 93.32
lakh respectively.
There were over 26 million registered two-wheelers across the north Indian state of
Uttar Pradesh at the end of fiscal year 2019, making it the leading state in this
category. Majority of the registered two-wheelers within the state were motor cycles
with almost 23 million registered at the end of the fiscal year.

2009 to 2019, with 10 observations. The data reached an all-time high of
221,270.000 registration in 2019.
Methodology
Sample design
Population: The population for this research paper is the population of India.
Targeted population: The targeted population for this research paper is the
number of people using vehicles.
Sampling Techniques
For this sampling we are going to use the Convenience Sampling
The attempts to obtain a sample of convenient elements. Often, respondents are
selected because they happen to be in the right place at the right time.
Research are done use various sampling techniques where there are large
populations. In most cases, testing the entire community is practically impossible
because they are not easy to reach. Researchers use convenience sampling in
situations where additional inputs are not necessary for the principal research. There
are no criteria required to be a part of this sample. Thus, it becomes incredibly
simplified to include elements in this sample. All components of the population are
eligible and dependent on the researcher’s proximity to get involved in the sample.

Result and Discussion
The result of this analysis shows in 2021 the production of motorcycle in India has
been increased compared to other passenger vehicles. The leading manufacturer in
India is the motorcycle model by Hero MotoCorp; headquartered in India's capital
New Delhi.
Limitations and Future scope
Some vehicle owners do not register once registration expires.
It becomes hard to find the vehicles if not registered.
vehicles are considered illegal property.
Whenever we are driving a vehicle in India it is mandatory to register the vehicle as
per the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988 and it is a punishable offense for driving a vehicle
without registering the vehicle. Registration of the vehicle helps the government to
keep track of the vehicle.
Safety - One of the facts of motorcycle travel is it is more dangerous as compare to
car relatively minor road hazards such as branches, gravel, or potholes can cause
problems, especially while taking turns.
Exposure - Riding a motorcycle, you are exposed to rain, snow, hail, heat, wind and
other weather types in a far more substantial way than with most other road
vehicles. This can make life difficult at times, especially with the motorcycle
storage problems-while travelling on motorcycle storage facility is not provide as it is
compact which can be one of the disadvantages as people cannot carry language or
heavy things from one place to another while using motorcycle as their travelling
source.
Future scope
The industry experts have left no stone unturned to identify the major factors
influencing the development rate of the Electric Motorcycle and Scooter industry
including various opportunities and gaps. A thorough analysis of the micro markets
with regards to the growth trends in each category makes the overall study
interesting. When studying the Electric Motorcycle and Scooter markets the
researchers also dig deep into their future prospect and contribution to the Electric
Motorcycle and Scooter industry.
We expect an electric two-wheeler market of around 15 million by the fiscal 2026,
accounting for around 50 percent of the market. Of these 15 million, we expect
around 9 million units of electric two-wheeler would be sold at the cost of petrol
models, thus creating disruption
