1. Introduction:
WhatsApp Mobile Application is a client application which runs on mobile devices. It
allows users to send text messages and voice messages, make video & voice calls and share images,
documents, user locations and other media.
1.1 Scope:

Send any type of messages
Receive any type of messages
Make voice and video calls
1.1.2. Out Of Scope:
1.2 Quality Objective:
Some Objectives of WhatsApp mobile application is:
• Ensure the application performance results meets with the customer’s requirements.
• All bugs / issues are identified and fixed before launching the mobile application.
1.3 Roles and Responsibilities:
1.3.1. Project Manager:
Project manager responsible for managing the whole testing process. She approves all
test documentation, considers budget and time terms and provides necessary resources.
1.3.2. Test Lead:
Test lead is responsible for collecting requirements, planning process, test activity monitoring and
project reporting.
1.3.3. Test Engineer:
Test Engineer is responsible for test case preparation and execution as well as issue reporting.

2.1 Overview:
2.2 Test Levels:
All aspects of the mobile application should be checked and fixed. For this, requires
executing of different types of testing.
Testing types that would be executed:
• Functional testing
• UI testing
• Usability testing
• Compatibility Testing (on different devices)
• Regression testing
• Resetting (if needed)
2.3 Bug Triage:
2.4 Suspension and resumption Criteria:
2.4.1. Suspension criteria:
• The application contains many serious defects which solved by specific
testing.
• Significant changes in requirements suggested by client.
• Software /hardware problems.
• Assigned resources are not available which needed by test team.
2.4.2. Resumption criteria:
Resumption will occur when the problems occurred in suspension criteria which have been resolved.
2.5 Test Completeness:
For completing the testing of WhatsApp mobile application there are few criteria to check would be:
• 100% test coverage
• All manual and automated test cases executed.
• All bugs are fixed or will be fixed in the next release.
