MENTAL WELL BEING COACHING MODULE

This module is a guide to enable to keep the Client / Patient to the


following: -
● To help the client Accept with Illness and to build on Motivation to
get through it.
● Only the client’s agenda matters, so acceptance and motivation
should be enforced only at the client’s pace of receiving them.
● Ensure strict confidentiality contracts are made between client and
coach.
● It’s okay for a coach not know all answers- “I will get back to you.”
or “I will find out for you.”
SESSION 1

SESSION- 1 Introduction (Client)


Hi, my name is _____ and I am going to be your CARER Coach. I’m here
to help you stay strong, listen, understand the problem and take you to
the solution. My goal is to keep you emotionally and mentally stable
through your healing journey with us.
The duration of the coaching
The duration of each session is 60 minutes. I will visit you every week for
the during of the program, so in total we will have 6 sessions where we
can get to know each other, and you can tell me of everything you are
feeling during this time of the illness.
Don’t worry as this will be adjusted to your schedule and convenience
accordingly.
What the session contains?
These 6 sessions have a set of process and techniques which I will be
teaching you. You can then continue to practice it by yourself.
Please be assured that all your information shared with me is
completely confidential.

Begin with Powerful Questions

1. How are you feeling right now?

If they say bad –


➢ Ans – We will work on making you feel better

If they say ok or good –


➢ Ans – That’s good, let’s keep focusing on feeling well

If they say don’t know or unsure –


➢ Ans – Let’s work on making you feel better

Powerful questions to ask:


1. How are you feeling?

➢ Ans: If they not are feeling good use clearing the space &
setting an intention. (teach them both techniques irrespective
of their answer)

Step 1- Make a list of all the things you want to do or achieve this year.

Step-2- Club the wants into relevant buckets


Eg- travel, work, family, health.

Step 3- Set intensions for each and find 2 images (representation)

Carer Coach - “I suggest you find two images for each of your intentions.
These are representative images. But the visual cue helps your mind latch
on to this desire, thus keeping you focused. These images can be stored
on your phone, table or laptop. Or print them and pin them up wherever
convenient.”
