These days, we are seeing an increasing amount of violence on television, and

this is having a negative impact on children’s behavior. Do you agree or

disagree?
I. Introdution
Television is a form of communication that plays an important role in disseminating
information and influencing people's perception. Sadly, the vast majority of TV shows
today contain offensive violent content. And I believe it has a negative impact on
children's behavior.
II. Body
1. The images of violence on television are the dark sides of society that are conveyed.
 Help children be conscious and aware of those dark sides.
2. Violent behavior on television making children stubborn and pessimistic
 Children are at a young age, grasping everything is quickly imprinted in the mind.
 Children will demand nonsense, age-inappropriate things.
 They see violence as a path to success and are famous for their inability to judge
everything.
 Violent films make children feel afraid of the outside world, afraid to enter
society.
3. Negative influence on children's actions
 Children are more sensitive to the actions around them, seeing everyone as an
enemy will harm them.
 Children will have aggressive, unusual behaviors, imitate violent images on TV
such as murder, torture, debauchery... become criminals.
Example: 2012 at midnight in Denver, USA. James Holmes, 24, wore a gas mask
depicting The Dark Knight Rises villain Bane wearing a bulletproof vest and opened fire
on the audience. As a result, 12 people died and 58 were injured.
III. Conclusion
Undoubtedly, an increase in the available shows, movies and a large number of cartoons
featuring violent behavior affects children's mental and social development. Therefore,
parents should have appropriate monitoring of the content that their children watch on
TV.
