I.VISUAL CONTROL OF THE PLANT BEFORE STARTING

Static examination to check the compliance of the assembled components:

- General aspect (painting, finishing, welding, fixings)

- Size (measurements)

- Manufacturer’s name plates

- Protection against direct contact (bus bar, heat elements...)

- Connecting points (bus bar, input/output Diesel oil...)

- Circuit breaker control (pole number, trigger, threshold)

II.TESTS OF OPERATION

- Safeties test

- Checking of the indicators control panel

- Visual checking of the circuits for no leak

III.TESTS ON LOAD

Because of the test bench design, all the power measurements are made on liquid resistors with power
factor = 1.The tests on load take place about 30 min.

Reading at different levels of assigned power (power in kVA)

For generating set prime power PPR defined : …..kW

At each of these levels, at the end of the time given will be recorded.
The electrical parameters: voltage, frequency, intensity and power.

For 100% load the mechanical indications: oil pressure, engine temperature engine and other if
possible, will be recorded.

IV.IMPACTS OF LOAD

The load impacts measurements are made at several stages of the nominal power with a flat deck
plotter.
The voltage and frequency transitory are recorded for each impact.

Î 0 – 25% / 25 – 0%
Î 0 – 50% / 50 – 0%

-A maximum load impact test in correct standard values

-A maximum load impact test possible for the generating set out of the standard values

V.TESTS REPORT

A report of factory tests for the customer will be signed at the end of the day
