COURSE DESCRIPTION :GE (Living in the IT Era) is explores the science, culture and ethics of information technology, its various uses and
applications, as well as its influence on culture and society. It also aims to strike a balance between conceptual instruction
and socially and culturally-oriented discussions as it not only explains the basic concept or key terms in IT but also feature

2. Create a creative web page (homepage) design through notepad/winx website.
3. Create a Video blog (Vlog) in the YouTube through exposure how to make a Vlog by video viewing, internet browsing and workshop to open
opportunities to become income generating.

Class Policy:
Attendance: An attentive, participative presence is compulsory in every class meeting. You are allowed to have a maximum six (6 -MWF
schedule) or four (4-TTH schedule) absences from cuts, excused or unexcused. You may be asked to drop or withdraw in this course for excessive
absence. However, it is understood that you are coming late, cuts and being absent in the class due inevitable circumstances such environmental
constraints. Lastly, habitual tardiness is generally frowned upon.
Assignments: Assignments should be done at HOME and BEFORE OR AFTER each class. It is part of your strategy to maximized the value
of this course to you. Several case analyses, problem sets and individual/group reporting will be assigned to you during the course to exemplify,
demonstrate and reinforce the concept which is presented in this class. Deadline is Deadline. However, the assign task will be accepted if it is
submitted a day after the deadline but deduction of points will be imposed accordingly.
Class decorum: Failure to appear on individual or group activity means zero. You are expected to be 100% actively participates in every
activity. Interruption on the class from stimulating learning experience should be avoided. If you have an important call, you are advised to step out
from the classroom. All phones should be in silent mode. Playing gadgets within the class session is banned. Anybody violating this rule will be
penalized accordingly through deduction of points or in extreme cases, you are asked to leave the classroom and mark as absent for that class
session.
Quizzes and Terms Exam: All quizzes and terms exam are announced. Therefore, no special shall be given to the absent students unless
otherwise absent due to inevitable circumstances such environmental constraints. Cheating is prohibited. Please observe honesty at all times.
