It will cover the following topics:
a. Code of Civil Procedure
b. Contract Act
c. Partnership Act
d. Sales of Goods Act
e. Specific Relief Act
f. Indian Evidence Act
g. Punjab Courts Act
h. HARYANA URBAN(control of rent & eviction) ACT,1973.

2. Law Paper II i.e. Civil Law II 200 Marks


Topics covered are:
a. Hindu Law
b. Mohammedan Law
Study the customary law of Haryana and Punjab also
c. Law of Registration
d. Limitation Act

3. Paper III i.e. Criminal Law 200 Marks


a. Indian Penal Code
b. Criminal Procedure Code
c. Indian Evidence Act

4. Paper IV: English


Essay 100 Marks
Precis Writing 25 Marks
Comprehension 25 Marks
Corrections 25 Marks
Words & Phrases 25 Marks
(To make sentences of the given words and phrases)

5. Paper V: Language Hindi 100 Marks


Standard of Hindi paper shall be that of matriculation examination of Haryana Board.
It shall comprise of:
a. Translation of English passage into Hindi. 20 Marks

c. Hindi Essay ,idioms and corrections 50 Marks

Syllabus for Prelims


IT WILL COMPRISE OF OBJECTIVE TYPE QUESTIONS FROM ALL THE ACTS
MENTIONED IN THE MAINS SYLLABUS AND WILL BE OF 125 QUESTIONS, EACH
QUESTION CARRYING 4 MARKS. THERE WILL BE1/5TH NEGATIVE MARKING ALSO.
QUESTIONS WILL BE ASKED ON CURRENT AFFAIRS AND INDIAN LEGAL HISTORY
AND CONSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENTS ALSO.
